On Saturday, February 18, I visited the oven of Tom Hickson. Tom lives in Stillwater - an hour drive from my home - and has an Alan Scott style oven built by Derek Lucchese. Derek is the owner of
Both Hands, and was going to teach my Oven Workshop.
I fell in love with Tom's oven. I loved the design. I loved the use of all the natural stone. Making the trek that day got me even more motivated to get my oven built.
